THE SMALL-SCALE TWO-TONE CLASSIC
This ladies Seiko Quartz Day-Date Fluted Bezel pairs compact proportions with the familiar two-tone language of a late twentieth-century dress watch. Its 24mm case, gold-tone fluted bezel, and day-date display give it a quietly formal presence while keeping the overall shape easy to wear.
The white/silver dial is organized around gold-tone baton markers and matching hands, with a framed day-date window at 3 o'clock. The stainless steel case has a clean, restrained profile, and the clear crystal keeps the dial easy to read. The case back is marked 7N83-0041 and carries serial number 070267.
The watch fits the 1990s Seiko quartz design vocabulary: practical, slim, legible, and finished with just enough gold tone to make a small dress watch feel special. Serial 070267 is consistent with a July production date in a year ending in 0; together with the reference's documented 1990s examples, that supports a cautious early-1990s dating estimate rather than a claim to an exact production year.
The quartz caliber 7N83 is an analog Seiko movement with day-and-date functionality. The movement and calendar layout are identified from the watch's caseback and dial; service history is unknown, so no claim is made here about current accuracy, battery life, or unseen mechanical condition.
The original Seiko two-tone bracelet completes the period look, with stainless steel outer links and gold-tone center links. Its plating shows honest wear, including areas where the gold finish has worn through, while the small case and 7mm thickness keep the watch light and understated on the wrist.
Three points to note
• Compact 24mm case with a 25mm measurement including the crown.
• Clear crystal and clean white/silver day-date dial.
• Gold plating on the original Seiko bracelet shows visible wear.
Water resistance has not been tested and should not be assumed.
