Find the one
you didn’t know you wanted.

Leaf through Seiko’s original Japanese domestic-market catalogues. Find a shape, a dial, a detail that stays with you. Pick a watch and we’ll help you look for it.

  1. Open a catalogue

Leaf through the original scans, page by page.

  2. Frame the watch

Draw a box around the one that stays with you.

  3. We go looking

Your find travels with the brief. No reference needed.

Historical catalogues are inspiration for a search. Availability and today’s price are confirmed with you before we begin.

Tell us what you’re looking for.

Share what you know and leave the rest blank. The more specific the brief, the more precisely we can search.

Your $30 deposit goes toward the final price of your watch. If we do not find you a watch, we will refund it in full. You can request a full refund at any point during the search. Request a refund.

A search in
four movements.

  1. Write the brief

Tell us what you are after — an exact reference or a loose idea — and place a $30 refundable deposit to open the search.

  2. We clarify

Within one business day we reply with questions, likely price range, and how realistic the hunt is. Nothing starts until you agree.

  3. We search

Trusted dealers, Japanese auction houses, and private collections. We only forward candidates we would list ourselves.

  4. You decide

Photographs, measurements, and a condition report before any commitment. The deposit comes off the final price.

Before you commission a search

What does the $30 deposit actually do?

It opens a real search file and covers the first round of enquiries. It is credited against the watch you buy, and refunded in full if we cannot find one or you change your mind.

How long does a search take?

Common references can surface in days. Rarer pieces in honest condition can take months. We will tell you which you are asking for before we begin.

Do you only source Japanese watches?

Mostly, because that is where our network is deepest. Swiss and American pieces are welcome; we will be candid about our reach.

Will the watch be inspected like your listed pieces?

Yes. Anything we forward is measured, timed, and photographed in hand, with a written condition report, before you decide.
